TELEMARK SKIING
What does telemark mean? Telemark is a genre of skiing in which your boot is only secured to the ski by a toe piece binding. This allows the heal to be lifted off the ski, for a different style to ski. And also to control the ski in a different manner. This style of skiing can provide great excercise for your thighs, calves, and buttocks. This style of skiing also requires a different kind of ski and ski binding.
But still what is telemark. It is Mark who like to watch television and ski. Maybe, but not likely right? Anyway may sure you put on the appropriate level of ski clothing to bundle up from the weather that you may encounter on the slopes.
Telemark is used frequently in back country ski trips, and heli-skiing ski vacations.
